Below are the top five companies in the Gold industry as ranked by free cash flow (FCF) per share. FCF/share is a valuable metric signaling a company's ability to facilitate growth in the business.
Newmont Mining (NYSE:NEM) ranks first with free cash flow per share of 3.59x; Kinross Gold (NYSE:KGC) ranks second with free cash flow per share of 1.1x; and Barrick Gold (NYSE:ABX) ranks third with free cash flow per share of 0.81x.
Goldcorp (NYSE:GG) follows with free cash flow per share of 0.74x and Golden Star Resources (AMEX:GSS) rounds out the top five with free cash flow per share of 0.24x.
