China North East Petroleum Subsidiary Tiancheng Signs Contract to Drill 100 New Wells

HARBIN, China and NEW YORK, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China North East Petroleum Holdings Ltd. (the "Company" or "NEP") (NYSE Amex: NEP), a leading independent oil producer and oilfield services company in Northern China, today announced that its oilfield services subsidiary, Song Yuan Tiancheng Drilling Engineering Co. Ltd. ("Tiancheng"), has signed a contract with Beijing Junlun Runzhong Technology Co. Ltd. ("JLRZ") to drill 100 new wells in JLRZ's oilfield in Inner Mongolia. This is the Company's first drilling contract with JLRZ and the sixth drilling contract signed since the acquisition of Tiancheng in the second half of 2009.

Drilling of the 100 wells is expected to commence this month and be completed by September 2011. Tiancheng will allocate two rigs to Inner Mongolia and each well is expected to drill 50 wells during the one-year contract term. The value of this contract with JLRZ will be contingent upon the drilling depth of each of the 100 wells drilled.

(the "Company" or "NEP") (NYSE Amex: NEP), a leading independent oil producer and oilfield services company in Northern China, today reported that on July 13, 2010, the Company submitted a request to NYSE Amex LLC ("AMEX") for additional time to regain compliance with AMEX's continued listing standards.

As previously disclosed, on April 15, 2010 and May 25, 2010, the Company received notice from AMEX that the Company was not in compliance with AMEX's continuing listing criteria set forth in Sections 134 and 1101 of the NYSE Amex LLC Company Guide (the "Company Guide") when it failed to file its annual report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2009 and Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2010.

On April 29, 2010 the Company submitted a plan to AMEX setting forth the actions the Company had and would take to bring the Company into compliance with AMEX's continued listing standards. The Company supplemented its plan on June 6, 2010. On June 15, 2010, AMEX accepted the Company's plan and granted the Company an extension until July 14, 2010 to regain compliance with AMEX's continued listing standards.

While the Company has made significant progress in implementing its compliance plan, management has determined that the Company will require additional time to fully implement the plan and has asked AMEX for an additional extension of time until August 31, 2010.

There are several market makers for NEP and it seems all the bids dried up and one market maker pressed the ask down real hard for about 20 minutes or so. The sell orders were almost all from the same market maker which usually points to one large seller or short seller. Who the actual firm was that did the selling is a mystery as it usually always is. It could have been a firm that bought in the 4s and wanted to capture the quick 50% gain. Who knows? You'll drive yourself crazy trying to figure out exactly what and why it happened.

eine wirkliche Erklärung habe ich nicht gefunden:

Vermutungen:

- nach dem scharfen Anstieg von 4.5 auf 8 war eine gewisse Korrektur zu erwarten

- Manipulation, die Chinesen haben von den Amibanken gelernt

- am 6.10. hat die Firma "unerwartete Bewegungen" selber der Börse gemeldet

- mein anderer Titel ist genauso (noch schlimmer) gelaufen (CGA)

- es gibt eigentlich keine Zweifel an der PE 4.6 (künftige Erträge aus dem Drillprogramm sicher noch nicht eingerechnet).

- also freuen wir uns an dem weiteren Anstieg
