PetroChina may launch Shanghai IPO near end of month - report
HONG KONG (Thomson Financial) - PetroChina Ltd, (Nachrichten) Asia's biggest oil company, may launch its initial public offering in Shanghai by the end of this month, The Standard reported on Monday citing unnamed sources.
A roadshow may start in the last week of October and the shares could be listed on the mainland by the middle of next month, the report said.
On September 24, the Chinese government allowed PetroChina to sell around 4 billion shares on the mainland, raising about 8 billion US dollars.
